3 SIMPLE STEPS

STEP 1 - FOUNDATION TO GAS COURSE

Your training starts by introducing you to the theory, principles and technology that forms the foundation to gas safety. Covering over 20 British Standards, Gas Legislation and Regulations you will become familiar with the how and why of being a gas engineer ​

STEP 2 - ON THE JOB TRAINING

GUARANTEED PORTFOLIO
Now it's time to put your theory training into practice in real life properties. You will meet with your local gas registered engineer and NVQ Assessor who will manage your skills transfer and sign off your gas portfolio.

STEP 3 - ACS GAS ASSESSMENT

You will now return to the training centre to complete your final competence assessments, undertaking a series of written and practical exams leading to the CCN1 (CPA1), CENWAT & CKR1 certificates. These certificates are required to apply to the gas safe register, and to work legally on gas.

GAS SAFE REGISTRATION

Once qualified you can begin your journey into the gas industry by developing solo work experience under our gas registration. As your sponsoring employer we provide your first one to two years technical support, employer sponsorship, visibility on the gas safe register and employer references when seeking a job. Whether you are going self employed or seeking employment, CTS GROUP will help you bridge the gap from student to experienced gas engineer. ​​
